A group of Krasnoyarsk architects was decorated with a breastplate «A Honourable Architect of Russia». This status was rewarded to Sergey Baltzer, Alexander Dobroljubov, Sergey Dobroljubov, Vladimir Dubovik, Nikolay Istomin, Mikhail Merkulov, Yuri Suzdalev, and our workshop director Boris Shatalov. Congratulations!

We have a new employee — Anton Mikula, architect.

The movie about the Creation museum has taken a Russian Union of Architects diploma at Zodchestvo 2009 festival in «Best movie about architecture and architects» category.

The team of the A2 design workshop has won a honourable mention in the international competition 'The New Dance School for the Moulin Rouge'. Paris 2009.

The participants of the Seattle & Krasnoyarsk Exchange Program on Urban Policy, Planning and Education have traditionally visited our workshop. The program was founded in 2005 by Professor Christopher Campbell and Irina Kukina and promotes research and professional exchanges between the University of Washington and Krasnoyarsk Siberian Federal University. in 2005 our architects — Anton Shatalov and Natalia Unagaeva participated in the exchange.

We have released an album of our first experience in genre "site furniture for suburban residence".

The workshop director Boris Shatalov has been elected as the Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Russian Architects Union. The chairman is elected for the period of 4 years by the closed voting of the general gathering. Membership cards and breastplates were also handed over the new members of the Union, Svetlana Rossianskaya being one of them.

The workshop has set to reconstruct an unfinished public building in 16, Surikova into a hotel. The design of an existing building has been carried out by the chief architect — Evgenie Kovalev in joint-authorship with architect A. Malashonok and engineer J. Filonenko (Bi-plan Open Company, 2005).

The work on the 1st stage of the research performed by our workshop in collabaration with Irina Kukina (the associate professor of town-planning department SFU) has been completed. The issue of research: placing of garages and parking of automated or mechanized types on the territory of Krasnoyarsk has been presented to the expert committee of Corporation 2020 for consideration.

The specialist of our workshop Denis Richter gained the first place in the All-Russian competition of diploma projects defended in 2008 on «Industrial and Civil Building» (speciality 270102), which took place in Tomsk.
