The project of a garage complex in the1st microrayon of the housing estate "Airport" represents a narrow line of three stereotyped parking blocks; the general length is about 300 meters, settled down on a small slope relief. The complex separates the inhabited micro-district from a highway of city significance – Alekseeva Street. The existing longitudinal slope provides entrance to the block on the one part inside a heated parking, on the other — on a block’s roof under the shed.

Originally the parking design assignment corresponded to the detailed plan. A2 workshop and the customer made a decision to complicate functional structure of a complex, having adopted the enterprises of social and cultural service such as: cafe, drugstore, retail trade, express service center (tyre fitting, oil replacement) and public lavatory. The solution should not only optimize territory usage, but also prevent the transformation of a part of the inhabited micro-district into a municipal-warehouse zone with all the ensuing consequences. Microrayon building up consists mainly of large-panel houses of 97th series. The basic principle of the proposal is opposition to antihuman typical functionalism. Instead of typologically pure object authors decided to create "oasis", the centre of people attraction of district significance.
