Ethno-cultural complex in Mana - Draft project - | project

The international tourist ethno-cultural centre is located on a south-east slope of the right bank of the River Mana near settlement Mana in Mansky area of Krasnoyarsk region.
Preliminary, chosen territory is about 4 hectares; it is free from building and is unevenly covered by the mixed wood. Difference of heights on a site from a water level makes about 26 meters, slope - from 5 to 40 percent. The centre is intended to carry out business meetings, reception of the tourists, to make various programs of the rest.
1. «The MUSEUM ».
Complex entirely consists of monuments of wooden architecture of the Yeniseisky province. Log huts, country estates, chapels, churches, barns, granaries etc. - everything is original. Everything is adapted under modern functions and comfortable hotel rooms. Some objects work as museums. New building includes only cultural and business centers. Two courtyards are collected completely, other objects are isolated. In order to stop associations at certain level and to leave the person in the XX-th century the structure of museum is deliberately geometrical. It is an absolutely modern life in an external cover of the last century.
2. «The STREET».
On its planning structure the complex repeats a traditional lay-out of the Siberian village with the central street and the square. The residential zone is made of round wood and repeats real country courtyard with some changes providing standard comfort for habitation. The ethnographic zone is developed and used as the centre of handicrafts and national crafts. It consists of the original transported objects where live and work “peasants” and “masters” who welcome the visitors. All monuments’ functions are kept. There are lights (candles) in the church. Buildings of sports zone and hunting club are constructed and simulate historical analogues. This variant provides considerable stage adaptation of the life in the complex: sailing traditional Siberian clothes, at least felt boots and Russian shirt to tourists. Felt boots by all means should be soled and crushed. Oven heating, fire wood in court yard, carts, horses, necessarily cattle, certainly, within the necessary. Tourists can completely plunge into atmosphere and life of Siberia of those years. The XX-th century is only in hotel rooms, both the cultural and business centers.
 3. «The SQUARE»
The basic objects of a complex are built of round bar 180×180 (residential zone on 65 places one- and double roomed, public complex, business centre, sport centre). The wooden flooring and canopy create from each structural element rather independent formation. Brought monuments of wooden architecture are located in the complex centre on the “square”. They are used as a museum of the Siberian life of 18-19 centuries; this zone plays an auxiliary role in complex structure. In the given variant inclusion and usage of historical objects is minimally, and also can already be carried out in the process of complex functioning. All under construction buildings are wooden and located on an active relief on wooden piles, connected by wooden sidewalks and canopies. Modern comfortable camp is in the style of the Siberian village of a XIX-th century. The historical motive is a kind of easy background.
